Question:
1. When washing the face for wudu is it okay to wet your hands and then wipe over your face or must you cup your hands together to fill them with water and then wash your face?
2. Is it okay rto fill a bowl with water and then use that water to do wudu with, as you are putting your hands back in that water and maybe water from your limbs falls back into that pot, is the water still okay for purifying?

Assalamo Alaikum,
Wiping over your face is not sufficient as you are talk to wash the face. The scholars have states that at least drop must fall off the face which indicates that it’s been washed and not just wiped.
Yes it is ok to fill a ball of water but first you must take a little of that water and wash your hands. Once your hands are washed then it’s ok to put those hands into the bowl for the rest of the wudu. A few drops falling back into the bowl won’t affect your wudu.
