Scotch Eggs – Mis-conceptions
Halal or Haram Alert – Scotch Eggs – These are not Eggs from Scotland!
Admin: These are Haram! Be warned as we know many Muslims who have consumed these assuming they are Scottish Eggs with batter on them!
Admin: Following ingredients are used to make these: 4 large eggs
White gluten-free bread
Pork mince
Half a teaspoon of oregano
Half a teaspoon of sage
Salt and Pepper
About half a litre of vegetable oil (enough to cover the eggs in the saucepan)
