Gourd in Hadith Sayyiduna Anas stated that a tailor invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for food that he had cooked. Sayyiduna Anas said,
“I went with Allah’s Messenger ﷺ and I saw him searching for gourd from around the plate.” Sayyiduna Anas said,
“I have loved gourd since that day.“
